If I didn't I would probably have been tempted to get either a Komplete Kontrol or. When I bought my Maschine I already had a MIDI keyboard which worked just fine for me. Well, considering that I own a Maschine Mk3 and not a Komplete Kontrol. It definitely makes sense to own both a keyboard and a Maschine it's perfectly possible to play scores on the Maschine (I'm a huge fan of the touch strip which can help with reaching notes outside your layout), but often (depending on what you plan on playing) it can't match a keyboard.Īlso if you were to choose out of maschine mk3 or komplete kontrol what would you personally choose? In my opinion it makes sense to get one if you don't already have a (MIDI) keyboard of some sorts. That is exactly what's stopping myself from getting one. So would there even be any point in getting the komplete kontrol considering it's just like my MK3?
